FULL STEAM AHEAD FOR TRION'S NEW HUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM

HVAC humidification specialist Trion Ltd has introduced the new Herrmidisteam-SS series - a new chemical-free steam-to-steam humidification system for commercial, industrial and clean manufacturing areas.

Using technology developed and tested in controlled simulation environments at Trion's state of the art Humidified Air Research laboratory, the Herrmidisteam-SS system works by using energy from a building's existing boiler plant. Steam is captured at this source and then pumped through a heat exchanger which heats and boils water in the Herrmidisteam-SS system. This process generates clean, chemical-free steam as pure as the original water source itself, eliminating possible contamination or carcinogenic problems that can be caused by boiler treatment chemicals in steam-only humidification systems. Trion Herrmidisteam-SS systems can utilise either raw water or deionized/reverse osmosis water for critical clean condition applications.

All Herrmidisteam-SS systems incorporate a stainless steel evaporating chamber and provide a range of options, ensuring suitability for a wide diversity of installations. Options available include nickel plated, copper for raw water applications or stainless steel heat exchangers, stainless steel or brass valves, on/off humidistats and proportional control devices. Systems are supplied in a range of model types and sizes with capacities extending from 27kg/hr up to 748kg/hr. A full range of matching stainless steel distributor systems for duct mounting or air handling unit applications is also available.
