NEW
TRION AIR CLEANERS PROVIDE SUPREME PERFORMANCE
Trion - the leading
name in electronic air purifier technology for the hotel, restaurant and
licensed trade for over 50 years - has upgraded its popular Supreme electrostatic
range to bring significantly improved air cleaning performance and value
for money over comparable units currently on the market.
The new, competitively-priced
Supreme units incorporate a range of enhanced features to ensure they
are quieter, easier to control and more efficient in removing tobacco
smoke and other contaminants from the air. The Supreme can remove up to
99% of airborne impurities entering the unit.
Trion offers a choice
of two different sized units in the new range, the Supreme 1100 and the
2200. Unit installation centrally in the ceiling generates an even air
flow distribution from all sides with air volume capacities extending
from 500m3/hr up as high as 2050m3/hr. Both models feature innovative
arc suppression circuitry as standard, which minimises "cracking"
during operation while unit functions and fan speeds can be controlled
remotely with a choice of either hard-wired or infra red options. Washable
pre-filter and active charcoal after-filter are provided as standard,
and units are available in a choice of either ivory or brown finish.
Developed by Trion
at its joint venture facility in the Czech Republic, all Supreme air cleaners
are fully CE marked as a guarantee of performance criteria and are built
strictly in accordance with ISO 9001 / EN 29001. Manufacturing cost savings
achieved as a result of this co-operation are being passed on directly
- with the list price of the new units some 25% lower than the models
they supercede.
Trion has vigorously
supported the AIR Campaign since its inception, as well as the test procedures
carried out by BSRIA to verify noise levels, air volumes and cleaning
efficiency of air cleaners as part of the Public Places Charter (PPC).
All Trion products, including the new Supreme range, are being tested
under this initiative and the results will be published in due course.
