Put Technology On Your Side
Trion’s electrostatic precipitators — filtration devices thatremove extremely small particulate matter (0.01 microns to 10 microns) from air streams with extremely low resistance to air flow throughout the collection cycle — operate in the higher efficiency collection range, upward of 95% of DOP test method.
Trion Systems Can Help You Achieve:
- Compliance with EPA, state and local air quality laws and regulations
- Cleaner, fresher air emissions that foster goodwill with commercial and residential neighbors, and with federal, state and local
government officials
- Lower equipment maintenance

How Electrostatic Precipitators Work
As air enters the filter, the particles pass through a high intensity electrical field that imparts an “electrical charge” to the particles. The charged particles then pass through a series of alternately charged collector plates. The charged particles are repelled by the plates with the same polarity and attracted by plates with opposite polarity — similar to how a powerful magnet works.

Benefits of Electrostatic Air Purification
- Up to 99% efficient on airborne solids, liquids and odors per DOP and ASHRAE test method
- Low, consistent pressure drop
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) automates cleaning process, which reduces maintenance costs and ensures efficient air cleaning at all times
- Meets NFPA 96 standard
